Nathan Bax Profile

Nathan Bax was raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina. He attended UNC Chapel Hill for an undergraduate degree in psychology and then USC School of Law. While in law school, Nathan clerked for the South Carolina Attorney General, assisting in cases involving insurance provider fraud. He also clerked for the Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Center on Professionalism, studying ethics and professional responsibility. After completing law school, he moved to Greenville, South Carolina, to work for the Foster Law Firm.  

While at the Foster Law Firm, Nathan has handled various types of ERISA and insurance matters, including disability, life insurance, health insurance, and pension/retirement. He also handles the South Carolina Retirement Systems, Police Officers Retirement Systems, and Standard Insurance Company cases for the firm. These cases involve benefits provided to state, county, and city employees (such as teachers, police officers, firemen, some hospital workers and city workers.)
